LG OLED42C66LB — 42” OLED evo AI 4K Smart TV (2026)

The LG C6 is the benchmark mid-range OLED for 2026, and the 42” is the smallest screen in the range — making it the ideal choice for a bedroom, kitchen, or any room where space is at a premium but picture quality isn’t something you’re prepared to compromise on. For the first time, the C-series gets LG’s flagship Alpha 11 AI Gen3 processor — the same chip as the premium G6 — bringing a meaningful leap in brightness, picture precision and colour handling over its predecessor.

A Quick Note on the Stand

Unlike the larger C6 models (55” and above), the OLED42C66LB uses a two-foot side stand rather than a central single-pole design. The feet are positioned wide apart with a stand width of 718mm — please measure your existing TV furniture before ordering to make sure the TV will fit. The OLED42C66LB is brighter than any previous C-series 42” model, with LG’s Brightness Booster technology magnifying each individual pixel for luminous, detailed highlights. The Alpha 11 AI Gen3 processor analyses everything you watch in real time, applying the optimum picture and sound settings for your content automatically.

Certified Perfect Black & Perfect Colour — In Any Light

Over 8.3 million self-lit pixels give the C66LB its fundamental advantage: every pixel controls its own light output, so blacks are absolute and contrast is infinite. LG’s Perfect Black and Perfect Colour are both independently certified by UL — not just marketing claims. The result is an image that holds its depth and accuracy whether the room is bright or dark, and from any angle in the room.

webOS 2026 — Smart TV Powered by Gemini & Copilot

LG’s webOS 2026 is one of the best smart TV platforms available. Every major streaming service is built in: Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, Channel 5, NOW and more — plus LG Channels for free streaming content. Controlled by the AI Magic Remote with hands-free voice recognition, AI Chatbot for picture and sound adjustments by voice, and AI Voice ID for personalised recommendations per user. LG’s webOS Re:New programme means the platform stays up to date with software upgrades for five years.

The C6 holds nothing back for gaming. Four HDMI 2.1 ports, 4K@120Hz for PS5 and Xbox Series X, VRR up to 165Hz for PC, NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium, ALLM and a 0.1ms response time. Game Optimizer and the Game Dashboard give you immediate access to gaming settings. Dolby Vision Gaming at 4K 120Hz is also supported.
